Novelist

I believe in the creative use of words to expand our minds and broaden our cognitive worlds.

I wrote my first novel when I was 17. It was a fully absorbing journey. Then life came in the way and some 40 years went by, 10 of which I spent writing my second novel, an illustrated language fantasy for young adults.
It is called Reho and the Death of Words and it was originally written in Portuguese. I am now in the process of translating it into English. This is a very unusual narrative, with words that have almost the role of characters. And when words die, as it is implied in the title, they do so in the actual text, graphically, visually.
