I believe in the creative use of words to share feeling and produce enchantment.
I have written poetry all my life, with most of it being a spontaneous effort to make sense of things. At times I also write poems to share a view of something that I though prose would be too mundane to represent. Whatever the reason for writing poetry, to me it has always been a reliable – and sublime, and scaring – source of help.
Much of it is in Portuguese, but there’s some English too.
